Steal an Egg Spawn Time: Resets, Prediction & Admin Abuse

The short version: eggs in Steal an Egg reset every 5 minutes. Every nest in every zone rolls a new egg on that cycle, and each zone only draws from its own egg pool, so a Cosmic nest can never produce a Forest egg. When a secret egg spawns, the game shows a server-wide announcement at the top of every player's screen (documented for the Cosmic Skeleton Boss; that it applies to every secret egg is community-reported, unconfirmed). The Great Bloom event in Cherry Blossom starts every 30 minutes. There is no official spawn predictor and no published Admin Abuse schedule; anything claiming to know the next secret spawn is a community guess.

How the 5-minute egg reset works
The Fandom Eggs page lists three spawn rules and they cover almost everything you will see in a normal server:
- Egg resets: the eggs reset every 5 minutes.
- Biome eggs: each zone has its own specific eggs. See all zones for the full list from Forest to Titan Temple.
- Limited eggs: event eggs such as Brainrot Eggs do not spawn in normal biome nests. They come only from the Store or from special events like Admin Abuse.
Eggs appear in different sizes next to the sleeping guardian; a bigger egg gives a higher value multiplier but is heavier and slows you down. Colour changes the look of the egg and pet but not the income, so judge a nest by shape, not colour. The eggs index shows what each egg looks like.
The wiki does not document whether the 5-minute timer is global for the server or per nest, and it does not give the exact rarity odds for each roll. Treat both as not documented yet.
Secret egg spawns and the server announcement
Secret eggs are the spawns people actually want to predict. The only documented mechanic is on the Cosmic Skeleton Boss page: a server announcement is made on top of the player's screen as the egg spawns. That means you do not need a timer to know a secret egg is up; you need to be in the right zone with enough speed to reach it first.
The Fandom advice for that egg: have more than 700M speed (the Cosmic entry requirement), be the first player at the nest, grab it as fast as possible to avoid other players, and use the bat to knock rivals out first if needed. Its page lists the pet at $40M/s while the wiki's pet data table lists $45M/s; the pet pages on this site use the data table.

Eternal and Divine eggs (Ice Dragon, Phoenix, Eternal Lunar Dragon, Unicorn, Kitsune, Nightflame and so on) are rarer still. Their spawn rates are not documented anywhere in the sources; see secret and divine eggs and eternal eggs for what is known.
Great Bloom timer
The Update 1 notes state it plainly: every 30 minutes, the Great Bloom begins. During the event the Cherry Blossom zone fills with Sakura Crystal Trees. Break as many as you can, collect Sakura Crystals, and deposit them in the Sakura Incubator to roll the Bloom or Spirit Bloom mutation. The Cherry Blossom zone page adds that the active window is short, but that detail is community-reported and the exact length is not documented yet. You need 2.5B speed to enter the zone at all. What "prediction" and "predictor" mean
Searches for "steal an egg prediction", "predictor" and "prediction server" refer to community bots and spreadsheets that try to guess when the next secret or eternal egg will appear by logging past spawns and extrapolating. What that actually is:
- The game has no official prediction feature. Nothing in the game, the update notes, or the wiki exposes upcoming spawns.
- The only in-game signal is the server announcement when a secret egg has already spawned, which is a notification, not a prediction.
- Because secret spawn intervals are not documented (whether they are random is community-reported, unconfirmed), any predictor is a guess. Community bots are not verified, and their accuracy is unconfirmed.
The reliable strategy is not a timer: sit in the highest zone you can safely run, keep a spare bear trap ready (you can place up to 3, and a trapped player is stuck for 7 seconds), and move the moment the announcement appears.
When is Admin Abuse?
"When is Steal an Egg admin abuse" is one of the most typed questions about the game, including from players asking for Indian time. Admin Abuse has no published schedule. The wiki only confirms that it is a special event and that it is one of two ways to get limited eggs (the other is the Store); that it is run by the developers is community-reported, unconfirmed. No source gives a day, hour, or time zone, so any specific time you see posted is community-reported and unconfirmed. Check the Admin Abuse and updates pages for the latest confirmed information.
The Fandom home page runs a "Next Update" countdown targeting 5 September 2026 at 15:00 UTC (20:30 IST). That is a community countdown for the next content update, not an Admin Abuse timer, and it is not an official developer date.
Store stock and limited eggs
Limited eggs never appear in nests. The Monster Egg added in Update 2 is sold in the Robux Store, hatches 6 monsters, and each has a rare Mecha variant; Eurogamer lists it as a limited-time item. The earlier Brainrot Eggs (Tung Tung Sahur, Bananita Dolphinita, Beluga Beluga, Mangolini Parrochini, Bomboclat Crocolat, Strawberry Elephant) have expired and are no longer hatchable. How often the Store rotates its stock is not documented yet.
