Cherry Blossom Event Guide: Sakura Incubator & Great Bloom
Updated 2026-09-02 · Roblox Steal An Egg
The Cherry Blossom event lives inside the Cherry Blossom zone, the tenth zone in Steal An Egg, sitting after Cosmic and before Titan Temple. You need 2,500,000,000 (2.5B) Speed to enter. It was added in Update 1 (August 2026) together with eight new pets, the Sakura Incubator, and two mutations: Bloom (x1.5 income) and Spirit Bloom (x2.5 income).
To unlock the Sakura Incubator: hatch a Crane from a Cherry Blossom Egg, carry it to the ancient Sakura tree in the zone, and restore the tree. From then on, every 30 minutes the Great Bloom fills the zone with Sakura Crystal Trees. Break them, collect Sakura Crystals, and deposit them in the incubator. At 97.5% charge you roll for Bloom; at 150% charge Spirit Bloom is guaranteed.

Cherry Blossom Egg pets
The Cherry Blossom Egg has its own pool of eight pets. Fandom describes them as generally among the most valuable available from any regular zone. Rarities come from the Update 1 patch notes; base income comes from the Fandom pet data module, with Eurogamer's pet table filling in the Oni Tiger value and the Index rewards.
| Pet | Rarity | Base income | Index reward |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crane | Epic | $4K/s | +2.7M Speed, $400K |
| Salamander | Legendary | $74K/s | +3M Speed, $7.4M |
| Red Panda | Mythic | $450K/s | +3.4M Speed, $45M |
| Snowy Owl (Snow Owl) | Cosmic | $7.5M/s | +3.7M Speed, $750M |
| Koi | Cosmic | $12M/s | +4.2M Speed, $1.2B |
| Stag | Secret | $145M/s | +4.8M Speed, $14.5B |
| Oni Tiger | Eternal | $600M/s (Eurogamer; not in Fandom data) | +5.4M Speed, $60B |
| Kitsune | Divine | $1.8B/s (Fandom); Eurogamer lists TBC | +6.8M Speed, $180B |
Hatch odds for each pet are not documented yet. The Stag and Kitsune are the two pets most people ask about; both are covered in more depth on the Secret and Divine eggs page, and Oni Tiger sits with the other top-tier pets on the Eternal eggs page. The full pet index is at All pets.
How to unlock the Sakura Incubator
The Update 1 notes give a three-step unlock. The Crane is the key item, which is why the Epic pet from this egg matters more than its income suggests.
- Hatch a Crane from a Cherry Blossom Egg. Steal Cherry Blossom Eggs from the zone and hatch them at your base until a Crane appears.
- Bring the Crane to the ancient Sakura tree inside the Cherry Blossom zone.
- Restore the tree to life. This unlocks the Sakura Incubator and the two new mutations.
There is no documented shortcut: the Crane has to come from your own Cherry Blossom Egg or, if you prefer, from trading.
The Great Bloom event
The Great Bloom is the recurring event that feeds the incubator.
- Timing: every 30 minutes according to the patch notes. The Fandom zone page adds that the active window is short, but its exact length is community-reported and unconfirmed.
- What happens: the Cherry Blossom zone fills with enormous Sakura Crystal Trees.
- What to do: break as many trees as you can, pick up the Sakura Crystals they drop, then run to the Sakura Incubator and deposit them.
- Why it matters: Sakura Crystals are the only documented way to charge the incubator, so missing a Bloom means a 30-minute wait before the next chance.
Because the event is tied to a fixed timer, it is worth being inside the zone slightly before it starts. Whether the Great Bloom timer lines up with the egg reset cycle covered on the spawn times page is community-reported, unconfirmed; the patch notes only give the 30-minute interval.
Sakura Incubator: charge thresholds and mutations
The incubator converts Sakura Crystals into a charge percentage. Fandom's Mutations page lists the two outcomes:
| Mutation | Income multiplier | Rarity | How it is obtained |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bloom | x1.5 | Event | Roll a chance at 97.5% charge |
| Spirit Bloom | x2.5 | Secret | 2.5% chance from the incubator; guaranteed at 150% charge |
Put together, the process is:
- Place the pet you want to mutate into the incubator before charging further. The patch notes describe depositing crystals to "mutate your eggs", while the Fandom Mutations page says a pet is placed inside, so the two sources describe the target slightly differently.
- Deposit Sakura Crystals until the charge reaches 97.5% for a Bloom roll, or keep going to 150% for a guaranteed Spirit Bloom.
- Do not leave charge sitting. Fandom warns that the charge decays if the incubator is idle too long. Feed it in a steady stream across several Great Blooms rather than hoarding one big batch; saving crystals overnight can cost you the progress.
The number of crystals needed per percentage point is not documented yet.
How much income Bloom and Spirit Bloom add
Mutations multiply on top of size. Fandom gives the formula:
Final income = Base income x Color multiplier x Size multiplier
So a Spirit Bloom Koi is $12M/s x 2.5 = $30M/s before any size bonus, and a Bloom Stag is $145M/s x 1.5 = $217.5M/s. Compare that with the other auras on the mutations page, where Silver, Golden, and Rainbow multipliers are still marked Unconfirmed.
Tips for the Cherry Blossom zone
- Train well past 2.5B Speed before stealing the heavier eggs. Carrying an egg reduces effective movement speed, and the Guardian can catch players who only barely meet the requirement.
- Plan the route back to base before you grab an egg; the Guardian chases as soon as you pick one up.
- Aim for Crane first. Until the Sakura tree is restored, Sakura Crystals from the Great Bloom have nowhere to go.
- Charge the incubator across multiple Blooms instead of saving crystals, because idle charge decays.
- Zone requirements, Guardians, eggs, and pets may change with future updates; the Titan Temple zone from Update 2 is covered on the updates page.
