Admin Abuse in Steal an Egg: Limited Eggs, Dates & Servers
Updated 2026-09-02 · Roblox Steal An Egg
Admin Abuse in Steal an Egg is a developer-run special event, and it is one of only two ways to get limited eggs. The Fandom Eggs page is direct about it: limited eggs such as Brainrot Eggs "do not spawn in normal biome nests and can only be obtained through the Store or special events like Admin Abuse." Outside those two routes there is no way to get one.
There is no published Admin Abuse date. No source lists a schedule, a weekly slot or a "next Admin Abuse" time, and the wiki's only countdown is for the next game update, not for an event. Any exact Admin Abuse time you see quoted (in Indian time or any other zone) is a community guess. It happens when the developers announce it.
What Admin Abuse actually is
"Admin Abuse" is the community's name for sessions where the developers use admin powers on live servers to hand out things players cannot normally get. In Steal an Egg the documented payoff is limited eggs, which never appear in the 5-minute nest cycle covered on the spawn times page.
| Question | Answer | Source |
|---|---|---|
| What drops during Admin Abuse? | Limited / event eggs (Brainrot Eggs are the named example) | Fandom Eggs page |
| Do limited eggs spawn in nests? | No, never in normal biome nests | Fandom Eggs page |
| Other way to get limited eggs? | The in-game Store | Fandom Eggs page |
| Fixed schedule? | Not documented; no schedule exists in any source | Fandom Eggs, Countdown |
| Which servers get it? | Not documented | - |
What is not documented yet: how long a session lasts, how many eggs each player receives, whether eggs are placed at nests or given directly, and whether every server gets the event. Anything more specific about what a session "will be like" is community-reported and unconfirmed.
Is there an Admin Abuse date?
No. The Fandom homepage runs a countdown, and people mistake it for an event timer:
| Countdown | Target | What it counts to |
|---|---|---|
| Fandom Template:Countdown | 5 September 2026, 15:00 UTC (20:30 IST) | "Next Update", not Admin Abuse |
That countdown is for the next content update. Updates so far have added a biome each (Cherry Blossom in Update 1, Titan Temple in Update 2), and Update 2 also put the Monster Egg in the Robux Store. Whether an Admin Abuse session accompanies an update is not documented, so treat the update date as a reason to be online, not as a promise. Announcements come from the developers through the game and its official community; this wiki will not invent a schedule.
Which limited eggs have appeared
Fandom files every limited pet under the Event rarity. Two limited eggs are documented: the Brainrot Egg, which Eurogamer marks as expired ("no longer hatchable"), and the Monster Egg, which arrived with Update 2 as a limited-time Robux Store item. If an Admin Abuse session hands out limited eggs, these are the pools it draws from.
Brainrot Egg pets (expired)
| Pet | Rarity (Eurogamer) | Income (Fandom) | Index reward (Eurogamer) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tung Tung Sahur | Rare | $100/s | +640 Speed, $10K |
| Bananita Dolphinita | Epic | $400/s | +710 Speed, $40K |
| Belula Beluga | Mythic | $40K/s | +2.5K Speed, $4M |
| Mangolini Parrochini | Cosmic | $800K/s | +267K Speed, $80M |
| Bomboclat Crocolat | Secret | $20M/s | +860K Speed, $2B |
| Strawberry Elephant | Eternal | $110M/s | +143K Speed, $11B |
Eurogamer lists base income as TBC, so the income column is Fandom's; Eurogamer spells the Mythic pet "Beluga Beluga".
Monster Egg pets (Robux Store, limited time)
| Pet | Rarity (Eurogamer) | Income (Fandom) | Mecha variant income (Fandom) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scorpio | Legendary | $10K/s | $45M/s |
| Froggo | Mythic | $50K/s | $155M/s |
| Crawler | Cosmic | $1.5M/s | $320M/s |
| Crocodon | Secret | $30M/s | $680M/s |
| Krakenoid | Eternal | $500M/s | $1B/s |
| Dreadscale | Divine | $2B/s | $4B/s |
Fandom also lists Drilla ($100M/s) under Event pets, but its egg is not documented yet. Monster Chests from the Hungry Frog event have a rare chance at the limited-time Monstrous mutation for Titan Temple monsters.
How to prepare for an Admin Abuse session
The sources do not describe the event itself, so preparation means being ready to hatch and hold rare eggs when they appear:
- Be online when the developers say so. With no schedule, the only reliable signal is an official announcement. The game already uses server-wide top-of-screen messages for secret spawns such as the Cosmic Skeleton Boss.
- Have free pen slots. A limited egg is useless if you cannot hatch it. Pen capacity is not documented yet, so clear low-value pets in advance.
- Bring speed. Any egg you carry can be stolen by other players on the way back to base. Larger eggs are heavier and slow you down.
- Set bear traps near your route. You can place up to three, and a trapped player is stuck for 7 seconds. Traps cannot be placed in the safe zone.
- Hatch, do not hoard. Limited pets pay out Index rewards (see the tables above): Brainrot pets list Speed plus cash, while Monster Egg pets list cash only (+0 Speed in Eurogamer's table).
Private servers in Steal an Egg
"Steal an egg private server" and "free private server" are the second-biggest search in this topic, and no page in the Fandom wiki, Eurogamer's pet guide or Destructoid's codes page mentions private servers for Steal an Egg at all. That means:
- Whether the game sells private servers, and at what price, is not documented yet.
- No source describes a free private server for this game.
- No source documents a way to join an empty public server.
What the sources do let us say: the Fandom egg rules are written as game rules, not public-server rules. Eggs reset every 5 minutes, each zone draws only from its own egg pool, and limited eggs never spawn in nests. Nothing indicates a private server changes any of that, so it would still not produce Brainrot or Monster eggs. Its only plausible benefit is fewer rivals racing you to a nest or knocking you out with a bat, the competition the secret and divine egg strategies warn about.
Whether Admin Abuse sessions reach private servers is also not documented.
Common questions
Is Admin Abuse the same as the Store? No. Both give limited eggs, but the Store costs Robux (Monster Eggs, Speed purchases), while Admin Abuse is a developer-run event.
Is the admin treadmill an event? No source mentions an admin treadmill. The documented treadmills are the speed-training machines at your base with level-based multipliers.
Can I get the Crane or an Eternal from Admin Abuse? Not documented. Regular biome pets such as the Crane come from their zone's nests; see all eggs for what spawns where.
