Update Log: Titan Temple, Monster Egg & Next Update Date

Steal An Egg has had two numbered updates so far. Both landed in August 2026: Update 1 added the Cherry Blossom biome and the Sakura Incubator, and Update 2 added the Titan Temple biome, the Robux-only Monster Egg and the Hungry Frog event. The game's original release date is not documented on the community wiki, so it is not listed here.
The next update has no confirmed date. The community wiki runs a countdown that currently points at 5 September 2026, 15:00 UTC, but that timer is set by wiki editors, not by the developer, and it has not been confirmed by any official post. The details are in the next update section below.

Update 2: Titan Temple, Monster Egg and Hungry Frog
Update 2 is the current version of the game. Its headline feature is Titan Temple, a new endgame biome placed after Cherry Blossom. It needs 7,000,000,000 Speed to enter, the highest requirement in the game, and its guardian is the Gorilla King. See Zones for the full progression order and Speed for how to reach 7B.

The update notes list eight new animals and eggs. Income values below come from the wiki's pet data module; two of them differ from media reports, which is flagged in the notes column.

Monster Egg (Robux Store)
The Monster Egg was added to the Robux Store in Update 2. According to the patch notes it contains 6 new monsters, and every monster has a rare Mecha variant, so there are 12 possible hatches in total. Eurogamer notes the egg is a limited-time item. Its Robux price and the hatch odds are not documented yet.

Wiki data lists incomes from $10K/s (Scorpio) up to $2B/s (Dreadscale) and $4B/s (Mecha Dreadscale); Eurogamer lists all Monster Egg incomes as TBC, so treat those numbers as community-reported. Monster Egg pets give +0 Speed in the index, unlike zone pets.
Hungry Frog event
The Hungry Frog event runs alongside Update 2. Parasites attach themselves to eggs across the map, and the loop is:
- Find an infected egg.
- Bring it back to your base.
- Feed its parasite to the Hungry Frog.
Collecting 5 parasites earns a Monster Chest. Monster Chests have a rare chance of containing the limited-time Monstrous mutation, which applies to monsters from Titan Temple. The Monstrous multiplier and the exact chest odds are not documented yet; the wiki's mutations table does not list them.
The event has no published end date. The Monster Egg and the Monstrous mutation are both labelled limited-time, but when they will be removed is community speculation, unconfirmed.
Update 1: Cherry Blossom and the Sakura Incubator
Update 1, also August 2026, added the Cherry Blossom biome after Cosmic. It requires 2,500,000,000 Speed and is guarded by a Nine-Tailed Fox (some wiki pages list Oni Tiger; the guardian name is not confirmed).

Sakura Incubator and two new mutations
The Sakura Incubator unlocks in three steps: hatch a Crane from a Cherry Blossom Egg, bring it to the ancient Sakura tree, and restore the tree. That opens two mutations:
- Bloom (x1.5 income) — rolled at 97.5% incubator charge.
- Spirit Bloom (x2.5 income) — 2.5% chance, guaranteed at 150% charge.
Every 30 minutes the Great Bloom fills the biome with Sakura Crystal Trees. Break them, collect Sakura Crystals, and deposit them in the incubator to charge it. The full walkthrough is on the Cherry Blossom event page, and the Crane itself has its own Crane page.
Other changes worth knowing
- In-game doom-scrolling: an update let players watch short videos on a giant phone at the Reels area. Roblox removed it from 24 to 25 August 2026.
- Codes: as of 2 September 2026 the game still has no code redemption system, so no update has shipped codes yet. Track that on the codes page.
- Trading: not part of either update so far. See trading.
Next update: what we know
Nothing official. What can be said from the sources:
- Date: not announced. The community wiki's sidebar countdown targets 5 September 2026, 15:00 UTC. It is editor-set and unconfirmed, so do not plan around it.
- Content: the Titan Temple zone page lists the next zone as "Unknown". No leaks or teasers are documented.
- How announcements work: the game has no official wiki or Trello board; the developer's own community channel is the only place upcoming features are previewed. Where patch notes appear in-game is community-reported, unconfirmed. This page will be refreshed when Update 3 ships.
Until then, the best preparation is training Speed toward the 7B Titan Temple gate and charging the Sakura Incubator while the current limited-time items are still available.
